What dairy-free milk is best for vegan desserts?
I recommend using any milk that you enjoy drinking by itself. In desserts, I recommend using full-bodied flavorful milk, such as soy or oat milk. However, any milk will work.
Can I use spreadable vegan butter rather than block butter in these desserts?
Generally yes. However, spreadable vegan butter contains more water than block butter so you’ll often need to add more flour (for dough or pastries) or sugar (for frostings).
